Strategix Srl is working on the digitization of museums and cultural heritage, using artificial intelligence (AI) technology to create "Virtual Influencer" . These digital avatars will be able to expand and enrich the viewer's experience, telling the rich heritage of Italy's cultural heritage in an immersive and interactive way.
Another project called "Back To Life With AI" involves the digital resurrection of historical figures, scientists and artists from the past, using generative AI to recreate their features from paintings or statues and give them new life in animated videos.
During the Expo, Strategix made possible a virtual meeting with prominent historical figures such as Giovanni Boccaccio, Anton Dohrn, Eleonora Pimentel Fonseca, Raffaello Sanzio and Giordano Bruno. Using generative AI, Strategix has recreated the image of these historical figures with verisimilitude, accompanying it with a digitally generated voice. Anton Dohrn: Founder of the Zoological Station of Naples, a key figure in the history of marine biology, he comes to life thanks to artificial intelligence with a message capable of stimulating a discussion on sustainability and marine conservation.
Eleonora Pimentel: Poet and journalist, one of the key figures of the Neapolitan Republic, comes to life thanks to artificial intelligence with a speech to push on the importance of freedom of expression and women in positions of power.
Giordano Bruno: Italian Renaissance philosopher, mathematician, poet and theologian, he comes to life thanks to artificial intelligence to discuss the fusion between science, philosophy and art.
Raphael Sanzio: Considered one of the greatest painters and architects of the Renaissance era, he comes to life thanks to artificial intelligence to talk about the importance of art and beauty in society.
This experiment showed how the lessons of the past continue to be relevant to the challenges of the present. Each of these historical figures, brought to life through AI, made a unique contribution to the discussion on digitalization and sustainability, emphasizing the importance of learning from history to face future challenges.
